My Care Manager is built by AJG Advisory, a UK advisory firm working in adult social care. We help domiciliary care providers get ready for inspection, run the day-to-day of home care, and move off paper. This platform is the tool we wanted on the other side of that work.
WHO WE ARE
Jack worked in UK adult social care for nearly fifteen years as a registered manager, operational lead and turnaround manager, taking services through CQC assessment across domiciliary care, care homes and supported living. AJG Advisory was founded in 2024 to do that work with more providers at a time.
In the two years since, more than 35 providers have been through the practice — most of them getting ready for inspection, untangling a rota that didn't match the hours agreed, or moving off paper and spreadsheets. Eleven are supported every month as part of the ongoing consultancy.
WHERE OUR EXPERIENCE SITS
Most of the problems we meet sit in the gaps between these three: a care plan nobody on the rota has read, a rota that doesn't match the hours agreed, or an invoice that doesn't match the visit that actually happened.
We work with providers before and between inspections: care plan quality, risk assessments, audits, evidence trails and the records an inspector will ask to see. That work shaped how care plans, outcomes and the audit trail are built here.
The day-to-day of domiciliary care: the rota and the calls, carers who need the right information before they walk in, and a manager who has to make the whole day line up. Visit monitoring, check-in and the inbox exist because of that pressure.
Moving services off paper and spreadsheets — choosing a system, bringing records across, and getting a busy team to actually use it. We build for staff who are in a car park between calls, not sitting at a desk.
WHAT MAKES MY CARE MANAGER DIFFERENT
Most providers end up with a rostering platform, a separate care planning tool, spreadsheets for finance and paper MAR charts. Information gets copied between them, and the copying is where things go wrong. We build one connected record instead.
£99.99 a month for one provider, with unlimited staff logins. No per-carer charges, no per-module upsells, no charge for the app.
The initial assessment prefills the care plan and its risk assessments, so nothing is typed twice. Sections link to CQC quality statements and the Fundamental Standards, with MUST, Waterlow and falls screening scored inside the plan.
Visits stay in draft until you publish them, and carers only ever see published visits they are assigned to. Multi-carer calls carry their own check-in for each carer, and contracted hours are checked before you commit.
An installable carer app with PIN or Face ID unlock, a short visit briefing, previous notes, GPS check-in and check-out, notes with photos, and a one-tap way to raise a concern.
Sensitive addresses stay hidden until tapped, key safe codes are limited to the people who need them, every reveal is logged, and location is never sent to third parties.
Invoices and timesheets are built from completed visits, with mileage worked out at 45p a mile. Pay and billing start from the same record as the care.
Staff files come through automatically every hour, matched by your organisation's unique ID rather than a name, and one sign-in covers both products.
Who can see what is enforced in the database itself, checked by live tests, and every change is written to an audit trail the application cannot skip or edit.
